Moving On Windows 7?

Definition

Previously identified as “Blackcomb” and “Vienna,” Windows 7 is reported  to be the next version of the Windows OS. It will succeed Windows Vista, will be available in both client and server versions, and will be released on October 22, 2009.

Technical details

Windows 7 will be available in 32- and 64-bit versions. The UAC that came with Windows Vista has been enhanced to allow the user to control how  often they are notified of changes to the system. There are also some personalization  changes that allow each user to define their desktop, as well as enhancements  to the wireless networking controls.  It should be  very similar to Vista, but with some aesthetic changes to clear up the issues that have plagued Vista.

Moving On 7?

Here the tips

Hardware requirements as same as Vista did

Don't expect to run on 512 mb on RAM or you machine cough on running, Any Pentium 4 or latest.
Graphic with WDDM 1.0 or beter

Backup your datas and be remember some of your apps might not run on 7. Bad? Normal for new stuff.hehe
Forget the old one.

Some video card need to have a proper updates or else got bluescreen. Some ATI cards got blue screen when running on 7.
So check with you video card manufacture

anything else? Yes, a DVD contain WIndows 7 and product key. ( I don't recommend any pirate)

Formatting and Insalling windows 7 is just like Vista, but it seems to be faster than Vista. ( I had tested it)
